Product Spotlight: SAM Splints

The SAM Splint has gained recognition from outdoor adventurers and medical professionals all over the world. The design is based on the concept of gaining strength from curves: constructed with a thin aluminium alloy core surrounded by closed-cell foam, the splint can be easily bent into one of three basic curves to create a robust, rigid and sturdy support for injured or fractured limbs.

Despite how strong it becomes when folded into one of these curves, the SAM Splint is easily moulded into shape and can even be cut using regular scissors that you would find in a typical household. With this versatility, it can be used as anything from an arm splint to an emergency cervical collar, and can be easily fastened using any wrap or tape without the need for any other special equipment.
